Filing your Taxes and Big Six Income Affidavit

If you have not done so already, now is the time to prepare and file your taxes for 2012.  Even if you receive Social Security or Supplemental Security Income, you are still required to file each year.  You likely received documents in the mail that were identified as tax documents.  These documents provide the essential information that will be requested.  There are free and low cost resources available to assist you in this process - click here for a list of click-able resources.  The filing deadline is April 15, 2013. 

Every Big Six resident should have received an income affidavit form from the management company, Douglas Elliman.  You may find that filing your taxes first will make it easier to complete the affidavit form.  We are to help if you require assistance completing the affidavit for your apartment.  Please contact us at 718-565-6569 to set up an appointment with a member of the NORC staff.  When you visit, please bring your affidavit form and any relevant tax forms.  It is very important that your affidavit is completed and returned by April 31, 2013.  Any residents submitting incomplete or late forms will incur a $150 surcharge from management.
